     My name is Tony Thoren. I started out repairing antique furniture for my family's antique shop, part-time, while on break from college. I learned how quality furniture was made by disassembling, repairing, and then reassembling the pieces, noting the different construction methods, both good and bad. I then made some antique reproductions  and immediately sold them at local antique shows. This sparked a creative and entrepreneurial interest in me that remains today. As the business grew over the years, I've enjoyed being involved in many very unique and challenging projects. Established in 1989, Northwest Design has been creating affordable custom furniture for 15 years.

      Here's how it works... Often, We'll come to your home or business to get an idea of what you want. After settling on an initial design, we'll send you a detailed scale drawing so you can see exactly how it will look along with a free quote.
